The building, rich in history, features intriguing low ceilings and quaint wooden doors that evoke a sense of nostalgia, yet is complemented by essential amenities such as free WiFi. The staff were notably welcoming and attentive, ensuring that my experience was enjoyable. During my meals, they engaged pleasantly, creating a warm atmosphere that transcended mere hospitality. The food exceeded expectations, boasting a delightful balance of flavours, although it came with a 12.5% service charge, which I accepted willingly given the dedication of the staff. Accommodations were comfortable, with a generously sized bed that facilitated restful nights. Breakfast was a self-service continental affair, with an adequate selection that satisfied my early morning cravings. As a solo traveler from Dublin, I found this spot to be a peaceful retreat, allowing me to wander through enchanting rural settings and witness the wildlife that graces the area. This establishment is certainly worth considering for those in search of serenity and character during their travels.
